Important Dates to remember:-

Online registration Part I 20th July to 14th August, 2013
Online registration Part II 20th July to 16th August, 2013
Tentative date of Examination 10th Nov’13 &17th Nov’13

Application Fees: Applicants need to pay Rs.100/- but it is exempted for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen are eligible for reservation.

Educational Qualifications:
Applicants must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent or higher examination from a recognized Board or University.

Pay scale:  SSC has designed the pay scale in the following manner
Lower Division Clerk (LDC) -Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- per month
Data Entry operator (DEO) – Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- or 1900/- per month.

Age Limit: Candidates age should not be below 18 years and not above 27 years (as on 1st August 2013)

Note-I The paper will consist of Objective type- Multiple Choice Questions only. For Part I,III & IV, Questions will be sent in English & Hindi both.
Note-II There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.
